by Bridget AdiukwuSeptember 13, 2011

With Gears of War 3, releasing next Tuesday on September 20th. I highly advise you to pick it up as soon as possible that is, if you want a few golden weapon skins for your Hammerburst or Lancer. Sponsored by the U.S. Air Force, there’s a little promotion going on known as “Golden Wings Week,” this offer goes on from the 20th through the 26th of September. Usually unlocking golden guns require some type of work ,but in this case all you have to do is play any match on Xbox LIVE during the dates above to unlock the Golden Lancer and Golden Hammerburst multiplayer weapon skins.

Im in the army and I heard from one of my friends that his sister is a predator pilot, the unmanned jet. And she’s enlisted, and I thought you had to be an officer to be one. Is he full of crap or can you really go in the air force, enlisted, to be a predator pilot?

I owned shares in Company A. The shares were purchased less than a year back. Company A declared a 1:4 bonus share issue. They announced that that any fractional share entitlement will be aggregated and sold in the market and the proceeds distributed to shareholders entitled to fractional shares.
I received 6 shares and Rs. 66 for this bonus share issue.

    1. I am assuming that the 6 shares will be treated as having a cost of acquisition of Nil for income tax purposes, i.e. if I sell them, I will have to pay Capital Gains tax on the entire proceeds. Please let me know if this is correct?
    2. Since no STT was charged by the company for allotting these shares, will I be liable to pay Long Term Capital Gain tax if I sell them after 1 year?
    3. How do I account for the Rs. 66? Is this to be considered as Short Term Capital Gain or is it to be accounted under some other head?

    Thanks for your answers.

I have a league where I am allowing 2 points bonus for QB over 300 yards. I then allow 2 points for over 400 yards. A member of my league thinks that the second bonus overrides the first and you get only the bonus for over 400, so it should be 4. However I think that over 300 yards gives you 2 points, then over 400 gives you 2 more. Can’t find it in Yahoo Fantasy Football help anywhere. Can someone help?

I am confused as to when a team shoots and when a team does not shoot when they are in the bonus. I assumed that every foul in the bonus became a shooting foul, but have observed that to be untrue. Someone please help!
