Starting today, Sony has released it’s “12 for ’12” PS3 Game Sale for both regular PSN users and PlayStation Plus members. Just as they released eleven deals on games for last years “11 for 2011″, Sony has put twelve of the highest praised PSN games of 2011 on sale at 30% off for regular users, and 50% off for PlayStation Plus members, to commemorate the new year.

As you’ve probably noticed, some of these games were released mere months ago. Although every game on the list has been highly praised, we here at the Game Fanatics highly recommend PixelJunk Sidescroller, PAYDAY: The Heist, Sideway New York, Rochard, and Dungeon Defenders.

The deal expires on January 23rd, so don’t wait too long!

Do you lose everything you had from Ps+?

If that is so, then the 30 days free is just a rouse that will help market Ps+.

And if that is the case, then I am irked. We didn’t need anything, but giving something to use that will hurt in 30 days sucks.

So you all know about this Welcome Back crap right…

I get 30 days free of PS plus, but only members get it. How do you register? I don’t know if I am a member. I really want to get my 30 days free, so I can get Under Siege, but it only gives me the option to buy it for 7 pounds.

    WTF? HELP

Alright so I just checked the playstation store and I saw that red shopping bag logo (the one that shows up on an item in the store after you buy it) on the download link for Infamous 2. So I clicked on the game and it said “This item has already been purchased. Hit ‘Download’ to download.” The problem is that I never bought the game. It costs $60 and I’ve never even had $60 in my account at once. I checked my account wallet and none of the funds had disappeared, so the store didn’t charge me for the game. I couldn’t have been hacked because my password is 20 characters long, has uppercase and lowercase letters, has numbers, has symbols, and even has Spanish characters in it, and I never gameshare or share my password with anyone. The only explanation I can think of is that the store thinks I bought the game because I downloaded the full game trial for Infamous 2 when I was a Playstation Plus member (my membership was a part of the Welcome Back package after the network was hacked), but the problem with that is that it’s letting me download the actual game instead of re-downloading the full game trial. So I have two questions:
    1. Does anyone know why it’s letting me download the game for free?
    2. If I finish downloading it, will it block me from using it since I’m no longer a Playstation Plus member and I downloaded the full game trial when I was a member?
@ Jake R. : Apparently you can’t read. MY ACCOUNT WALLET DID NOT LOSE ANY FUNDS. So if it did not cost me anything to download it, then it was free. In the future, read questions carefully before calling the asker an idoit. In addition, only post an answer if you think your answer will help the asker.

I already have Xbox Live Gold, but these Playstation Plus perks/discounts are urging me to become a member. Is it worth signing up for?

Has Sony said anything about what PS Plus members are getting for July? I saw some summer discount thing where the games are 50% off for PS Plus members, so is that all we are getting?
