by Ben RunningsMarch 20, 2012

Cyanide, the studio behind the Game of Thrones games, is now showing off something else that they are working on.

Confrontation is the video game adaptation of the fantasy miniature wargame of the same name. The game is a tactical RPG featuring four factions vying for power during the Ragnarok.

Today they are showing off some new screen shots from the game and I’m placing the original teaser trailer for Confrontation in here as well. Confrontation declares war on the pc on April 5th.

We are pleased to announce that Confrontation, the video game adaptation of the fantasy miniature wargame by Rackham, will be released for PC on April 5th, in both retail stores and digital download! To celebrate this upcoming event, new screenshots have been released revealing more of this tactical role-playing game developed by Cyanide (Blood Bowl, Game of Thrones).

Deftly combining role-playing game elements with strategy,Confrontation offers a rich and unique experience that focuses on intense and extremely tactical battles!

Today’s screenshots reveal the Griffin squad, as they infiltrate deeper into enemy territory. From the maze-like laboratories of the Scorpion in the heart of Syhar desert, to the dark forests of Diisha guarded by the goddess Yllia and its Wolfen packs, or the immense Orc-filled Canyons in Bran-O-Kor, each territory is definitely hostile to the Akkylannian soldiers of the Griffin. These elite soldiers may not allow themselves any rest, until the quest they have been given is finally fulfilled…

About Confrontation
The game is set in the fantastic and original universe of Confrontation, Aarklash. As the Age of Rag’narok is approaching, you will take the lead of a troup of elite Griffin warriors infiltrating enemy territory in order to bring an end to the Scorpion threat. During their journey, they will have to face numerous threats, such as the fearsome creatures of the Alchemists of Dirz, the brutal Orcs of Bran-O-Kor, or the ferocious Wolfen pack. The route will be full of danger before they reach their destination in the depths of the Scorpion’s lands.

You will have to astutely lead and develop your squad, in order to obtain victory. Develop the soldiers and creatures that will fight by your side, and establish sharp tactics to annihilate your enemies! Careful management of your units, their powers and skills, as well as clever use of your environment will get you through near-death situations and lead you to epic victory!

Confrontation also shines in multiplayer. Choose the faction you’ll side with: Griffin, Scorpion, Wolfen or Orc, and battle other players’ elite squads from all around the globe. Level up, unlock new units, and claim supremacy on the battlefields!

Confrontation will be released on PC in retail and online stores on April 5th.

Watched the season end of Video Game of Thrones. Cherished the show so considerably I simply cannot wait till next year for time 2. I was contemplating I’d choose up the guides see what takes place next. So this problem is for anybody that has examine the first guide and watched the complete 1st period of the show.

How shut is the show to the book? If I just leap directly into the second book will I be rather considerably caught up? Or will i be missing nearly anything that the present didn’t put in?

Hi, I have not go through the “A Song of Ice and Fire” books yet.
Which of the publications are Osha in?

  • Joe T

I’ve never been able to read the book nor watch the TV show. So, I don’t really know what it’s about. all I know is that it’s really popular these days.

I’m planning to buy the book. I want to find out first if it’s worth buying it. Is it really good that’s why it’s so popular?

I just bought the new Socom Confrontation game for ps3. it comes with a playstation brand bluetooth headset. I’ve connected it many times, turned both the headset and ps3 on and off countless times, and it stil does not appear to be connected (because it indicates if it is in the “lobby” section).

I connected it to my cell phone and it worked just fine.
    Please assist.

I found out that my mom loves the Game of Thrones TV series. I was wondering if there is anything similar I can get her that she may enjoy just as much as Game of Thrones.

My mom works really hard, and I don’t make much money, so I was hoping I can at least get her something to enjoy.

I think she enjoys the drama and setting of the story? She told me the setting is beautiful.

Even if Zimmerman went to see where Martin disappeared to?

Do head injuries on Zimmerman and only knuckle bruises on Martin prove who initiated the physical confrontation?
Heathen – Again you twist the truth to try to make a point. Martin didn’t know he was armed until it was too late. Fail.

We live in a society today where a seemingly innocent confrontation with a child dictates a unwarranted form of legality that can cost you your life.

How did the confrontation at Central High School in Little Rock develop out of the Brown v. Board of Education decision?

How do I audition for game of thrones season three? I heard they have a list of new character they will be casting and I’m interested in auditioning for one of them and I was wondering how I would audition for it thanks!

I cry when I am angry and everyone knows that if you cry in an argument, you lose by default. I have always wanted to be calm, cool, and collected in a confrontation like my best friend but those tears well up every time.

Is there a trick to getting over this? It’s very annoying.

  • Michael

Ever since I rememeber I’ve been terrified of confrontation. I hate arguments and hate when people get mad at me. I’d like to become a tougher, stronger person mentally. I want to be able to say how I feel and not be concerned about how others will react to me. I am always nice to everyone and do whatever people ask of me even when I shouldn’t. How can I overcome this fear on confrontation? Ty!

  • Maggie

It beats really fast to the point where I can feel it. I also start sweating and I get really short-breathed. What’s going on?! This usually happens when I have to confront somebody about something or when I get into an argument. Sometimes I have to just take a moment to myself to catch my breathe and sometimes I stutter when I’m talking during the confrontation. They aren’t even always big confrontations. For example, I work at a movie theater. It usually happens when I am just checking peoples’ tickets or asking them to put their cell phones away but it always happens when I have to ask someone to leave.

I love game of thrones and I just wonder if more females or males watch the show or does it just even out to about the same? Also those that love this show what are some other shows you really like?

  • happyha31

I was wondering how the crap you get the tilly sniper rifle on socom: confrontation. I envy the people that have them lol. Thanks a lot!

I know I can’t please everyone all of the time, but I try anyways. I’m afraid of people disliking me and thinking negatively of me… I’m very sensitive to this.
Also, because I’m afraid of confrontation, and avoid it to all costs, when I do need to confront people I end up speaking as though I’m angry and then I am perceived as being a b-i-t-c-h.

The other sad thing is that I’ll confront and argue with my loved ones, but I can’t with others…

    Any suggestion would help…
    Thanks in advance!
