Save the Date for Astonishing X-Men #51!

ON SALE JUNE 2012

So this image has been floating around the internet for a while. Looks like we’re supposed to save the date in June for Astonishing X-Men #51. What for, is unknown, but it’s gonna be important. Generally, people are asked to ‘save the date’ for a wedding. But who could be getting married? I haven’t read Astonishing since Whedon stopped writing it, but I have a few guesses. Cyclops and Emma? Beast and Abigail Brand? Toad and Mystique?

Drop me a line, let me know what you think’s happening.

Well I wanna study the really first batman comics and how he originated and almost everything where would I start?? And are the batman chronicles really worth reading? And what books really should I examine to catch up with me to the now comics? Like from the golden age of comics to the modern age of comics? I wanna examine all of them!

    This is my latest team:
I recognize that this trade could hurt my sbs a lot, but i also have a need to have at pitching and webb would resolve that. He mentioned that if he is gonna trade Webb he wants a good/solid pitcher in return to go alongside with a great hitter which is his most significant need.

I saw this on MLB trade rumors .com Fantastic site. But I am a Angels admirer but still will not know why they mentioned that Yankee enthusiasts want that trade. Do they not want A-rod? Or do they need to have younger pitching THAT BAD? Or do they want to get rid of income cap. Dustin Mosely has a 3.50 ERA. He is a starter and a reliever. Weaver has a 3.30 ERA (he’s not a fake from last year) and Brandon Wood is there top rated prospect. Another Q is that why do teams give huge time gamers like Abreu for a couple slight leagues. Is wage cap that important?? thanks

Ok, I would like to find some free online scans of X-Men comics (most especially Astonishing X-Men) I now how to get torrents of them, but I’m not always on a computer that I can’t be downlaoding torrents on. Also most manga sites don’t actually have X-Men scans on them, so please don’t respond with just onemanga or mangafox. So yeah any help you can give would be nice. There used to be a pretty good site called Ultimate Spiderman but it went down… so just any help you could give would be nice.

Im super confused. Can someone please explain to me what happened between Ashonishing X-men Unstoppable (Issue 24) and Ghost Box (Issue 25-30). Whats with all the alien tech? How long after issue 24 is this supposed to take place? When did Ororor become a queen or what ever?

  • Yoshi

i was wondering because Cyclopes lost his powers in it, but none of the others, and it isnt being involved in the current or next crossover. but the team was the bases for House of M, Phoenix – Endsong, Phoenix – Warsong and Civil War: X-Men. which effect the other x-men books. does it play by its own rules

    No Superman
    No Spiderman

Gritty and Dark and just plain ole good Sci-fi Fantasy would be great.

Also, what other X-Men comic series would you recommend to read? I used to buy the monthly comic issues a few years back, but later stopped. Now I want to start reading them again, but I don’t know what series are best to start off. Thanks.
Also, in which series does the scene occur when Gambit and Rogue are undergoing some session provided by Emma Frost, and they ( Gambit and Rogue) are sitting in a middle of some field or possibly a garden, when Rogue tries to learn to control her powers?
I remember seeing this in one of the monthly comic issues I read, the title of which I don’t recall. Are these issues available in volumes?
Man, how stupid was I not to hold on to the comics I bought. Regretting this right now.

  • Jerosh Nagulachandran

Can’t watch it on Hulu which is what everybody tells me to do.

I have been a long time x-fan (wiki-ing the plots and characters etc), but have only started reading the comics until now (post messiah complex). In the new astonishing x-men (25) cyclops and emma lead this team, but in uncanny (500) cyclops and emma lead a different team and seems to have a different base of operations (both bases are in san fran). I know that uncanny is like the original main x-title, so does that mean Astonishing takes place in a separate continuity/universe??

PS. How can i catch up on my uncanny (Giant Sized and on) and adjectivless x-men? i know not all the issues are put together in collections (especially adjectiveless).

THANKS A MILLION (SORRY IT WAS SOOOO LONG)

I have downloaded and plan to read Astonishing X-Men (2004-present). I know that the X-Men continuity splinted into the life of 3 main series throughout the 90s and early 00s but i can’t get it straight. Wikipedia just made me more confused.

Can anyone explain the titles that lead to AXM? I know that AXM starts in 2004 picking up from one of the lines. Which line is it (and what were the titles of that line if it changed multiple times)? Which titles do I download that are the back-history to this series?

I think it may be a continuation of New X-Men but what years came before the switch and the different titles through out its history?

    Like was it: X-Men (1991-2001) > New X-Men (2001-2004) > Astonishing X-Men (2004-present)
