Marvel to produce Max Payne 3 comic

by Greg DeVriesApril 18, 2012

Rockstar has announced that they will be teaming up with Marvel to produce a comic tie-in to Max Payne 3. This comic series will bring up players up to speed on what has previously transpired in Max’s life. It will also shed more details into the man himself. It will be written by Dan Houser and Remedy’s Sam Lake, illustrated by Greg Horn and Fernando Blanco. The comic will be available in digital format, and limited print editions. Look for the first issue on the Rockstar Newswire and  the Max Payne 3 Official Site.

So what do you think? Are you excited? The cutscenes and story were my favorite part of Max Payne 2, so hopefully this will continue is the same vein. I’m someone disappointed by the limited print editions, but we’ll have to see. Stay posted for more Max Payne 3 news.

ok, so i was seeing the trailer for the new max payne motion picture with Mark Wahlberg and all i can say is, “What the Hell?!” If you’ve observed the trailer and played the authentic video video game you may possibly understand. But can an individual please make clear to me why there are these winged creatures flying around? This is an motion recreation not a fantasy. Why are these guys in the movie?

In The Course Of the credits of the Max Payne movie, there is a tune with no lyrics. Its the very last one to perform prior to the scene soon after the credits roll. Not 1 man or woman has been in a position to determine it in any way. Its not Rock, its not Metal, its an orchestrated piece with a piano beginning it off.
I was able to uncover it underneath the Amazon link. Dark Heaven, that is the name of it. Many Thanks a lot.

Never Ever thought, they would make an additional Max Payne. I imagined he died in 2. Tell me what you know.

The third entry in the Max Payne video game series is now currently under development by the same people at rockstar that made The Warriors game. What would you like to see in the third entry? Do you think Max Payne will die?

I have just recently gotten into comic books and I absolutely love green lantern. He is my favorite of DC. There are just so many series out there and I can’t afford to buy all of them lol.

It’s my boyfriends birthday coming up and he wants to start a batman comic collection. Now I don’t have the largest budget in the world, so the first comics would be a no no, but I don’t want to just buy a random one. Any ideas?

Ok Ive watched various motion comics on Youtube, most of them see to be watchmen comics.

I have an assignment in college to create a motion comic. And to be honest this is absolutely out of my depths by the looks of things.

Can anyone suggest a simple way to create a motion comic, like the most simple form of motion comic.
I will need to draw it on Photoshop (thats all I have at home) & edit it in Flash if I have to at college.

This is for a school project. How do comic book shops receive their comics? Is it through the mail or do they get it by truck?

For comic strips to be published in newspaper in black in white (like foxtort, peanuts, boondocks etc) what method of shading is used? I could only find old references for things like shading sheets? Have things advanced at all?
