Was Arkham Knight's Identity Revealed? [Spoilers]

Batman: Arkham Knight drummed up a lot of hype and anticipation after its E3 game play demo. There were a lot of information and important reveals throughout that kept people on the edge of their seat. But perhaps the biggest reveal came not in an official capacity but in a probable slip of the tongue.

Batman: Arkham Announcement on New Year's Eve

On their Facebook page, Batman: Arkham Origins has announced that an announcement will be announced on New Year’s Eve. What this actually anyone’s guess. Does Batman finally lose it and get put in Arkham himself? More DLC? A new game from Rocksteady? All we have is literally just the above picture. Post your ideas on the comments below. I’ll do something interesting with the most creative one.

All jokering aside, it’s probably more DLC that’s been hinted at in the past before. Or, it could be the announcement of the Nightwing movie staring Joseph Gordon-Levitt that I’ve been waiting for. That’s totally it, isn’t it?

Official 18 Minute Batman: Arkham Origins Walkthrough

If you’re like me and are eagerly awaiting this Friday to finally get your hands on Batman: Arkham Origins, this video will either make the wait easier or less bearable. What we have for you is an 18 minute walkthrough of a couple early missions in the game. Commentary is provided by Senior Producer Ben Mattes and Gameplay Director Michael McIntyre. Truth be told it doesn’t look terribly different from Arkham City, but with an engine that good it’s hard to find fault with Warner Brothers for leaving much the same.

One noteworthy item is that not only with Batman have to deal with the gangs and assassins, but the GCPD and SWAT teams will also be enemies. [...]

I Am the Night Mode Revealed for Batman: Arkham Origins

Yes you are, Mr. Wayne. Yes you are. A new mode for Batman: Arkham Origins has been announced: I Am The Night. This difficulty mode will unlock after the player completes New Game+. What’s different this time around is that you only get one life, and can’t save. So it’s essentially Hardcore mode. The current estimates for the game length are around twelve hours, so either that’s a long marathon, or leaving the console on. Although, given that it would be at least your third time through the game, you’d probably be good at it by that point. Personally, I play on PC which I leave on all the time anyways.

Details on the Initiation DLC were also [...]

Batman Arkham City Wii U Port in Progress?

Resumes are proving to be a good tool for leaking news in the video game industry. This time a Senior Programmer for Warner Bros. Montreal listed on his resume that part of his job at the studio was “Getting Batman Arkham City on the Wii U.” Now the real question is the quality of said port, but the good sign is that WB is keeping it all in the family rather than letting an external studio manage the port.

Macken Movie Update – Dark knight rises: Cast update

Rumours have emerged, reporting that actor Alon Aboutboul has been casted for Dark Knight Rises.

The Israeli actor, who’s married to director Shir Bilya is supposedly set to play the films ‘Mad Scientist‘. However it has not been confirmed or denied by Warner studios.

Naturally any Bat-fan would jump to the conclusion of Hugo Strange, who is also set to be Batman:Arkham City’s main villain. However with other characters like Bane and Al Ghul playing big parts, it could easily be a cast for a high-end henchmen.

So, Alon Aboutboul who is most known for his roles in Fringe, Body of Lies and Munich. Could quickly turn into one of the Batman [...]

Batman: Arkham Assylum boasts a bigger city

In what can only be described as ‘duh’ news, Rocksteady has revealed in the latest issue of OPM that it’s upcoming title Batman: Arkham City is five times larger than Arkham Asylum. Of course, anybody with any form of common sense could figure out that an entire city based around the Batman universe is slated to be much bigger than a mental institute. However, Rocksteady was sure to note that Arkham City is not going to be a sandbox title, so don’t think you’re going to get to free roam with Batman just yet.

Speaking with OPM, Rocksteady boss Sefton Hill, had the following to say:

“Without a doubt, the hardest part of moving the game setting from the confines of the [...]

Batman: Arkham City – Fall 2011

The sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum finally has a title and a projected release date of the fall of 2011. This game will be released on XB360, Ps3 and the PC.

The website is up and running but there isn’t much to see or do as of yet.

The newest cover for GameInformer will host this Batman game as it’s cover.

Arkham City is a sub-city within Gotham City.

Here is the first trailer that was shown at the VGAs earlier this year:
